With dramatic skill a Sunday School teacher was telling the story of Abraham and
his obedient preparation to sacrifice his son, Isaac. As she neared the climax
she described the details so vividly that one child pleaded nervously,
Oh, please don't go on! This story is too Terrible!"
Just then another little girl sitting across from her exclaimed,
"Don't be silly, Mary this is one of God's stories, and God's stories always come out right!"
What truth was expressed by her statement, for God
always sees to it that everything works out right in the end for those who
belong to Him, "for we know that all things work together for good to them that
love God."
