ARE YOU SUCCESSFUL?

1 CORINTHIANS 4:1- 4

1   Let a man regard us in this manner, as  servants of Christ and  stewards of  the mysteries of God.
2   In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy.
3   But to me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself.
4   For I  am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this  acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord.

We tend to measure our success as men by our personal wealth or influence.  Paul said success, In God's eyes, is measured by our faithfulness.  As Christians we've all been given access to the mystery of salvation and are charged with living in the joy of that hope and letting others know about it.

     The one thing God wants from you is to be a good steward, to do the best you can with what you have.  No more.  No less.
