Dear Lord in Heaven
In my prayers I have asked
for much
Please send me material
desires, finances
Great talent, beauty and
such.
Most of all I asked for
your gentle touch.
Heartache, Joy. Sorrows
and Tears
All have entered my life
over the years.
Gray clouds, Raging
storms, pouring rain.
Death clouds of lonely
devastating, pain.
Out of the bright blue
heavens above
You sent sunshine ... with
your love.
Angels with your blessings
came
Wings unfurled .. Formed a
circle round
Filling my life with
happiness, joys abound.
You blessed me with a
mate, loving and kind.
A wonderful Family, I am
proud to call mine.
The knowledge to get on
my knees and pray,
For patience and courage
to face each day!
As I look back with a
little more wisdom
My ears can hear my eyes
are open to see
The numerous Blessing you
bestowed on me.
Problems like mountains,
both great and small
Were solved because you
touched them all!!
