Is belief and trust in Jesus really the only way to know God? Christians are sometimes accused of being narrow-minded and exclusive for claiming to have inside information on the one and only way to know God. Yet we as Christians take our cue from Jesus himself.

Why did he make this claim? Because only Jesus lived a sinless life. Only Jesus died for our sins. And only Jesus rose from the dead. As God's Son, only Jesus can bring us into a relationship with his Father.

Jesus did declare that the path to God is narrow. But most truth is narrow. In a sense, Jesus is like a mathematics teacher helping a student find the correct solution to an equation. In stating that "No one comes to the Father except by me," Jesus helps us arrive at the truth and keeps us from making incorrect conclusions.
