“I SEE EVERYTHING”
February 20, 2002

A dear friend of mine is now lying on his deathbed. I
just received this information via internet. It was
forwarded to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Then to
Alaska, and lastly to us on the Amazon. Brother
Orville Sykes is today 95 years of age. As a young
man, he was a success in the business world. Then God
arrested him as He did Saul of Tarsus on the road to
Damascus. Christ became preeminent in his life. He
resigned his position at Sioux City, moving to
Colorado Springs to put his children in Bible school.
At his new job, he knelt first beside his desk in
prayer. All men knew where he stood. There was
nothing shady in his life.

Farewell, ye dreams of night; Jesus is mine!
Lost in the dawning light, Jesus is mine!
All that my soul has tried left but a dismal void.
Jesus has satisfied; Jesus is mine!

“Daddy has had a good day,” his son writes, “…and he
is resting calmly at present…But within the last half
hour he has, with his eyes tightly closed and his arms
stretched out and reaching upward, been saying, “Amen,
Amen, Glory to God,” etc. At one point…I said,
“Daddy, we don’t see anything, but we can tell you are
seeing things that we can’t see…. What are you
seeing?” He responded: “I SEE EVERYTHING! Glory to
God!” We are eager to read the closing chapter of
this saintly man’s life.

“It will be worth it all when we see Jesus.”

We are fast approaching the commemoration of Christ’s
death and resurrection. Ever since I was a child I
have associated Easter with the Second Coming of
Christ. On the day of His ascension, Christ was
caught up in the clouds. So will the saints be caught
up in the clouds to glory.

Latest report: 11.10pm - Tuesday - February 19, 2002
DADDY IS GONE. He and Mother are having a reunion! And
I'm certain that he has already seen his Precious
Jesus. James Sykes
