Some refer to them as E-essays: “I really enjoyed today's meditation from you. Thanks for the message” (Alaska). “Thanks for sending me your writings. It would be very nice some time to just sit down and talk about life, its happenings and how they have influenced our lives” (Guatemala). “You come up with some great topics to write on” (Ukraine). “Back On-Line and anxious to receive your E-essays. Keep 'em coming. They encourage me through my recoveries (Texas). “I read all your Emil letters, and I think you're a very good writer (Tex/Mex border). “Thanks very much for the daily reports that you are sending me. They mean a lot to me” (Belize). “So glad to hear of the wide open doors along the Amazon trail too. We pray that the Lord will strengthen you both physically as the work grows daily” (Brazil). I thank all who are receiving and reading my essays. A special thanks to those who have written a response to encourage us. I once reserved a special corner of our one-time McKinley View Hilltop in Alaska. There I wanted to build a very special retirement log-cabin where I could write day or night as the inspirations struck me. But God had other plans. I sold that acreage, investing the money in Colombia, South America. Later, we bought a “rancho-not-so-grande” in the Barada Hills near the Missouri River bluffs. But again we sold this lovely spot in God’s-cow-country, investing in the Amazon country of Colombia, Peru and Brazil. Now God has got us where He wants us, basing our mission work out of the Casa Grande, Amazonas. The most exciting e-mail response came from my brother Vern in Florida. Hello Erwin and Jean, Just a short note to let you know that we enjoy your "Missionary Outreach Inspirations" very much. You are both in our prayers. Many people are reading your letters on the web site. SomebodyCares4U ministry is growing as God continues to bless and guide. We are privileged to witness hundreds of people dedicating their lives to Christ. One hundred and twelve in one week!  God is AWESOME!  We pray that God will continue to meet your many needs on the Amazon. It's exciting to know that we will continue to worship and serve God for the rest of eternity.  Life just keeps getting better and better.
