IT’S OUR CHOICE

Genesis—the book of beginnings—
cannot be discredited by genealogists or historians. And God said, “Let the
waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies
be filled with birds f every kind….” And God saw that
it was good Then God blessed them, saying, “Let the
fish multiply and fill the oceans. Let the birds
increase and fill the earth.” This all happened on
the fifth day! And God said, “Let the earth bring
forth every kind of animal—livestock, small animals
and wildlife…each able to reproduce more of its own
kind (Genesis 1:20-25 NLT).
BUT THE ONE WHO HAD CHOSEN TO LOVE
HAD CREATED ONE WHO COULD LOVE IN RETURN
CHRIST THE CREATOR CREATED A CREATOR.
This took place on the sixth day of creation Then God
said, “Let us make people in our image, to be like
ourselves. They will be masters over all life—the
fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and the
livestock, wild animals, and small animals.
So God created people in his own image;
God patterned them after himself;
Male and female he created them.
God created the fish, the birds, and the animals able
to reproduce more of its own kind. And God saw that
it was good. But when God formed a man’s body from
the dust of the ground and breathed into it the
breathe of life…the man became a living person! Every
offspring of man contains a living soul, God has
planted eternity, and he has given us the power of
choice.
“Within the man, God had placed a divine seed. A seed
of his self. The God of might had created earth’s
mightiest. The Creator had created, not a creature,
but another creator. And the One who had chosen to
love had created one who could love in return. Now
it’s our choice. _
