ENVISIONING THE CROSS
What is it that I see When my mind brings that day to me? What emotions are stirred And do they move me?
Can I see His face? The pain He had to bear Or is it just the love I feel As He looks down at me Nailed up there
A God who loves so much Even me just as I am Would go to The Cross and take my place Would take nails through His feet and hands All to save me with His Grace And make a place for me in the Promise Land
A man who died for me. The Lord who rose again! The Son who set me free! And cleansed me of my sin! The Christ who saved me and made me whole again!
What is it that I see When I envision the cross I see a God who loves so much He paid the ultimate cost.
