I know, there are those who say that the Lake of Fire is only symbolism. Oh, and of course there are those who say that there is no such thing as Hell. Sorry, but the Bible is specific about Hell. It is a real Lake of Fire, that burns forever and ever. Those who end up there are tormented forever, with no peace, no rest, no breaks, and no water. FOREVER


Luke 16:23-25, In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'
"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.

 

Revelation 14:11, And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."

Wow! FOREVER! That's a long time. We can't really even comprehend the word FOREVER because our natural lives are so temporary. Our souls; however, are not temporary; and we will spend eternity in one of two places.
