God will transform the Dead Sea, the saltiest, most lifeless body of
water on the face on the earth into fresh water and fill it with fish. He
will take a body of water that nothing grows around and surround it with
lush vegetation.
Jewish rabbinical tradition holds that the water that comes from the
Gihon Spring is the site of one of the four rivers that marked the Garden
of Eden. In the appointed time, it will flow like the days of old bringing
life to the land.
I don't know how He will accomplish it, but God has never failed to
deliver on a promise and never will.
The miracle of the Dead Sea is mirrored in our lives. When we accept
Jesus, He takes our dead spirits and brings them to life. What was once
barren wasteland becomes beautiful. What was once a stronghold of
opposition to God becomes the very place He dwells.
The miracle of spring and the miraculous healing of the Dead Sea that
is to come pale in comparison to the miracle He has performed in our
hearts.
Until next time, rejoice in the life He has freely given to you. It
cost you nothing, but He paid for it with His very life.
Be blessed.
Hallelu Yah (Praise God)!
